What characterizes me?
People generally regard as waste everything that they can no longer use and therefore want to get rid of. And as long as mankind produces waste, it is challenged to dispose of it safely and in an environmentally sound manner. For more than 30 years now, my vocation as an engineer has been to work on providing technical solutions for this existential task. My greatest interest has always been in thermal waste treatment.
These are extremely complex plants that are needed for this. Planning and realising them requires the involvement of many disciplines, good coordination, goal-oriented action and perseverance. And that's exactly what makes it so exciting for me. Forming** and coordinating teams, formulating and pursuing goals, motivating team members, benefiting from the competence of experienced team members and being able to experience the wealth of ideas of the younger ones while working on a common cause, awakening and feeling team spirit - that is my world!
