What characterizes me?
Curiosity and a sense of belonging to the ecosystem around us drive me to explore the connection between human beings and the environment, downsizing anthropogenic systems to a small part of the world in which we live. And if like any human being I tend to fall into an anthropocentric view, I find humility in observing the enormous changes taking place around me. This reflection is both vehicle and fruit of my interdisciplinary journey, during which I have transited from the human to the environmental dimension, moving from history, to geography, to climatology.
I study climate respecting the enormity of its changes and trying to understand how human beings, in their smallness, can adapt to it by changing in turn. I have neither a magic formula nor any one-size-fits-all answers, but I think that by building an overview and setting clear goals it is possible to make progress.
