Simone Gebert
Technical specialised Engineer, Project Manager
What characterizes me?
I am fascinated by the variety that I experience in my projects from a wide array of engineering sectors. So I am not just a ‘classical’ transportation planner; I incorporate a variety of different perspectives. Thanks to my background as a landscape gardener, I am close to the construction side of things as well. This eye for implementation makes it easier for me to see the overall perspective, particularly as I am now working a lot in the early stages of projects.
My motto: if you have little time, get lots done at the beginning. For me, this means first getting a thorough overview and proceeding in a structured way so that I can avoid idle time. The next step is to discuss ideas and possible solutions. I believe that bringing in different perspectives always leads to better solutions. It is an attitude that I also like to pass on to the next generation of project colleagues. I like to bring that collaborative spirit to all my endeavours.
I am appreciated for my pragmatic yet optimistic manner. I like down-to-earth approaches that can ultimately be brought to fruition.
