Shaping the future in the areas of transport, energy, settlement and the environment fascinates me - because it's about people and their living environments. It seems particularly important to me to think outside the box, to structure complex issues and to remain open to surprises.

For me, success is when people with different professional and personal backgrounds are enthusiastic about a common cause and when you can feel that a project is really taking off.
