I believe that every problem must be approached with fresh eyes and that the greatest added value for the customer lies in a specific solution. At TBF, I therefore particularly appreciate the freedom to break new ground, to introduce new approaches and to develop new solutions.

I greatly enjoy it when solutions and decisions can be developed based on data. I am by no means averse to having script-based automated data analyses as part of the mix.

I am at home in the field of wastewater disposal and treatment, particularly at sewage treatment plants. The complexity of this field of knowledge and the enormous added value that this domain brings to society have long fascinated me. I am well connected in the field of wastewater treatment. I maintain good contacts, particularly with ETH, where I have a teaching position.

I place importance on communicating what we develop and discover in a straightforward manner. Visualisation as well as writing succinct and level-appropriate texts is especially helpful to me in doing so.
