The Swiss Water Association (VSA) trains sewage treatment plant personnel in the skilled operation of urban drainage and wastewater treatment plants. In close collaboration with the VSA, TBF has created a learning environment in which aspiring sewage plant staff can acquire the necessary skills for the job and for lifelong learning. The learning environment encourages and supports the learning of individuals and their organisations in entirely new dimensions, such as innovative technologies and the use of pioneering forms of working and learning. The training is held as a one-week module, with TBF providing support in the preparation and implementation. A platform integrated into the learning environment allows course participants to stay in touch, share their knowledge with each other and develop their skills as part of a community.
