On behalf of the CPC consortium, TBF + Partner AG was commissioned with the earthing management. The earthing management covers all trades in the project (carcass, carcass equipment, construction power supply 50 Hz, track, catenary 16,7 Hz, power supply 50 Hz, radio, control system, safety systems).

In addition to the tunnel with 2 single-track tubes of 15.4 km each, the project perimeter also includes 48 cross passages, 5 technical niches, 9 sleeve chambers, the two railway technology buildings (BTG) in Vezia (south) and Vigana (north) as well as other surrounding buildings, the Vezia substation and the open lines.

The earthing management included the tasks of creating the return path and earthing concept, reviews with the planners, submission of the dossier to the BAV, installation instructions and checks, partial tests, measurements and the acceptance and overall verification of earthing.
