Die Arbeitsgruppe Siedlungsabfälle wurde 1991 durch die Leiter der grössten bernischen und solothurnischen Kehrichtverwertungsanlagen und Deponien unter der Leitung des Amtes für Wasser und Abfall des Kantons Bern (AWA) ins Leben gerufen. Heute tagt die Arbeitsgruppe regelmässig zwei Mal pro Jahr, nach wie vor unter der Leitung des AWA und in praktisch gleicher Zusammensetzung wie 1991. Die Sitzung dient als Plattform für Diskussionen und zur gegenseitigen Orientierung über aktuelle Projekte.

Seit rund 30 Jahren werden zudem jährlich zuhanden des AWA die Betriebsdaten aller Kehrichtverwertungsanlagen und Deponien, welche Berner Abfälle verwerten, erfasst und in einem Bericht zusammengefasst. Unter anderem zeigt der Bericht die Entwicklung der Abfallmengen in den KVA und der abgelagerten Mengen in den Deponien auf.

The working group for municipal waste (Arbeitsgruppe Siedlungsabfälle) was established in 1991 by the heads of the largest waste recycling plants and landfills in Bern and Solothurn under the direction of the canton of Bern’s office for water and waste (AWA). Today, the working group meets biannually and is still managed by AWA with essentially the same structure as in 1991. The meeting serves as a platform for discussion and provides a common focus for current projects.

The operating data for all waste recycling plants and landfills that recycle waste in Bern have been collected annually for AWA and summarised in a report for approximately 30 years. Among other things, the report charts waste volumes in waste recycling plants as well as the volume deposited in landfills.

Le groupe de travail Déchets urbains a été créé en 1991 par les responsables des plus grandes usines d’incinération de déchets et les décharges de Berne et de Soleure, sous la direction de l’Office des eaux et des déchets du canton de Berne (OED). Aujourd’hui, le groupe de travail se réunit régulièrement deux fois par an, toujours sous la direction de l’OED et avec pratiquement la même composition qu’en 1991. La réunion sert de plateforme de discussion et d’orientation mutuelle sur les projets en cours.

Depuis une trentaine d’années, les données d’exploitation de toutes les usines d’incinération des déchets et des décharges, qui recyclent les déchets de Berne, sont enregistrées chaque année à l’attention de l’OED et consignées dans un rapport. Le rapport montre, entre autres, l’évolution des quantités de déchets dans les usines d’incinération et les quantités déposées dans les décharges.

Il gruppo di lavoro per i rifiuti urbani viene fondato nel 1991 dai direttori dei principali impianti di termovalorizzazione dei rifiuti e delle discariche dei Cantoni di Berna e Soletta, sotto la guida dell’Ufficio delle acque e dei rifiuti del Cantone di Berna (AWA). Ancora oggi il gruppo di lavoro si riunisce regolarmente due volte all’anno, sempre sotto la guida dell’AWA e in sostanza con la stessa composizione del 1991. Le riunioni fungono da piattaforme di discussione e offrono un orientamento generale sui progetti attualmente in corso.

Da circa 30 anni, inoltre, i dati di esercizio di tutti gli impianti di termovalorizzazione e delle discariche che riciclano i rifiuti di Berna vengono registrati e presentati all’AWA in un rapporto riassuntivo. Fra le altre cose, il rapporto mostra lo sviluppo della quantità di rifiuti che arrivano nei termovalorizzatori e che sono depositati nelle discariche.
