BLS maintains around 100 switching posts on its network for the sectioning of the overhead contact line network. Some of these installations have reached the end of their technical service life and must be overhauled.

The switching posts, which are currently equipped with old load switches, will be overhauled between 2019 and 2023. Additional switching posts in the Emmental and Mittelland regions will be overhauled starting in 2021.

TBF was commissioned for general project management for this exciting project, as well as project management for primary and secondary technology.
