Environmental impact assessment Report, SRF Leutschenbach
Zurich, Switzerland
The main location of Swiss Radio and Television (SRF) in Leutschenbach is to be structurally consolidated, and the Brunnenhof radio studio integrated into the site as part of the ‘SRF Leutschenbach’ development project. The existing parts of the building will be gradually expanded and/or supplemented, and required infrastructure areas will be reconstructed. Implementation will occur in five stages. The approx. 900 existing above-ground parking spaces on and around SRF’s main location will be reduced to 649 and most will be housed in a six-storey underground car park.
According to the Ordinance on Environmental Impact Assessment (UVPV), an environmental impact assessment must be prepared for the project. The assessment shows the effects of the project on the environment and defines measures to protect the environment.
