Landquart station is set to get a facelift! Over the next few years, it will be completely rebuilt in several stages – including double-track extensions on the lines to Malans and Igis. While the first phase will be implemented independently by the RhB transport company, the second phase will be a joint project with SBB. The first expansion steps include the following subprojects, in which TBF is responsible for traction current planning: double-track expansion Landquart-Malans, expansion of the workshop infrastructure, a temporary washing facility, expansion of the J and M groups, ladder tracks and track and platform facilities of the B and C groups. The second phase will then tackle the double-track extension on the line to Chur and the conversion of the Landquart station itself.
