As part of the ‘KVA 2010’ project, boiler line 3 was replaced by a state-of-the-art boiler line under confined space conditions. This involved numerous structural adjustments, the renewal of the rubber lining of the scrubbers, a phased conversion of the electrical energy supply including the emergency power system and modifications of the process control system and ancillary facilities. More extensive maintenance work, which was sensibly planned and implemented as part of the overall project, was also carried out in the same period.

TBF advised and supported the client with public relations, preparation of the draft proposal and obtaining the building loan. In addition to general project management, TBF was also responsible for engineering in the fields of process technology and electrical engineering.
