Bern-Solothurn regional transport is planning the construction of a new maintenance centre in Bätterkinden in order to expand its services on the Bern–Solothurn line.

TBF is responsible for the tenders of various operating equipment (underfloor lathe, bogie lowering system, etc.) and also acts as a consultant for other tenders (washing system, wastewater treatment, roof work platforms, etc.). Planning includes SIA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects) phases 41 to 53 as well as the preparation of tender documents, suitability and award criteria, project planning support, installation support and commissioning. In addition, TBF provides support to the general planner in technical, safety-related and operational matters.
