The Civil Engineering Office of the canton of Zurich operates an old oil separator in Zollikon next to Lake Zurich, which captures light liquids and protects the lake from pollution in the event of an oil spill. The structure is no longer state of the art and needs to be upgraded.

TBF was therefore commissioned to carry out an extended preliminary study for the Civil Engineering Office that examined the various renovation options. In view of the good structural condition and legal regulations, the structure is now to be preserved and upgraded to bring it in line with the state of the art. The Civil Engineering Office has therefore entrusted TBF with the development of a construction project.
