Swiss railway company BLS is planning to construct a new workshop for light maintenance, which is slated to begin operations in 2028, in the Chliforst area in the west of Bern on the Bern-Neuchâtel railway line. BLS issued a study contract, which was won by ARGE Pool - b+p baurealisation. In the interim, a related construction project and preparations for submitting the planning approval application to the Federal Office of Transport (FOT) were completed.

In addition to standard client support, TBF has also been handling various technical areas during SIA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects) phases 21-33 since the basic principles for the tendering of the study contract were developed. Alongside traditional client support, TBF also assisted the client with many technical issues such as environmental impact, land acquisition and operating resources' strategy, and also performed a comprehensive review of the preliminary project. Currently, TBF provides support to BLS in selecting the optimal implementation model as well as the related preparatory work for the implementation phase.
