The second ice rink at the Schluefweg sports centre is to be completely renovated and enclosed. Installing a roof over the new rink will create stable operating conditions, providing operational advantages and benefitting users. Protection against the weather and extreme heat and sunlight can also reduce operating costs for ice treatment and maintenance.
The new replacement building also sees the implementation of additional operational requirements and legal regulations regarding technology, adjoining spaces, equipment storage rooms and food storage areas as well as safety requirements such as improved escape routes, access for emergency vehicles and accessible entrances for people with disabilities.

TBF organised and implemented the tender for a general manager, and also assisted with project planning and the referendum. TBF will be providing assistance and professional expertise until project completion.
