The current bus route no. 10 between Bern and Ostermundigen is overloaded, with more than eight million people squeezing into these buses every year. The new tram line Bern-Ostermundigen (TBO) will bring some relief. Together with the construction of the new tram line, the roadway along the entire line will be completely redesigned. The Tram Bern Ostermundigen AG organisation was founded to implement the project.
