Horgen Oberdorf station does not meet the requirements of the Disability Equality Act. To meet the future expansion requirements of the network, the track system was planned to be upgradable with a third track axis/platform. The necessary upward compatible track topology was developed as part of the rail access concept study. With the clustering 'renewal of track, renewal of traction current and interlocking replacement', an optimal service life of infrastructure facilities will be achieved through the station conversion.
